Creative Concept
A 4,866 Mile Overland “RUN” for Hurricane Relief: an untamed 6 day adventure across the United States, from Washington’s Olympic Peninsula (the most northwestern corner of the U.S.) all the way to Key West, the southernmost tip.
Think overlanding Cannonball Run, but with gourmet meals, hot showers, a real toilet, and a good night’s sleep. Along the way, we built in unforgettable activations: from Storyteller owner coffee and dinner meetups, a comedian joining us for a leg in California, a stop at Jay Leno’s car garage, an Elvis moment in Vegas, a visit to Mercedes-Benz HQ and so much more!
We set out to raise $50,000 for American Red Cross hurricane relief efforts - and thanks to our incredible sponsors and generous donors - we raised $85,000!
Objective
Overlanding with a Storyteller XO (a Sprinter van with a shower and a toilet) brought together two ideas that rarely coexist: rugged adventure and everyday luxury. We tackled a demanding cross-country route, braved tough weather and terrain and yet stayed well rested, well fed, and freshly showered the entire way, thanks to the XO floorplan in a Storyteller MODE van. Along the way, we invited the Storyteller community to join us at various stops and, together, raised $85,000.
